Pillory Thursday – The Greenings – 18 p.m.
The energy and power of Irish rock in its simplest form. Born at the end of 2017, this duo from Nantes never ceases to surprise you. A repertoire focused on Irish traditionals, folk or American country standards with the most rock'n'roll energy: The Pogues, Dropkick Murphy's and Flogging Molly.
Since March 2018 and the group's first date, no less than 230 concerts have followed, including a 6-date Quebec tour in September 2019.
The Greenings are constantly evolving, always looking for new titles to add to their repertoire, and are currently working on new compositions.
In 2021, the band released their debut album, One more pint of Guinness, recorded during confinement. Eleven titles alternating compositions and traditional covers. The duo also released 4 music videos
visible on the group's YouTube channel.
