Esprit Zik’ – The menhir chimney sweeps – 21 p.m.
It was in the spring of 2006 that the explosive birth of the Menhirs Chimney Sweeps took place. In the dancing Breton night, against the backdrop of a high-energy drum machine, a saturated punk guitar combines with traditional partisan singing and the frenetic themes of a couple of bell ringers. The tunes remain faithful to the repertoire and style of the ancients, the Breton language winds and unfolds, according to gavottes, laridés, plinn, hanter-dro and other kas a-barh.
With more than 1500 lively concerts to their credit, the Chimney Sweeps in turn set Brittany alight, then France, part of Europe (Belgium, Switzerland, Scotland, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, etc.), without forgetting the tours in Quebec. In the music of the Chimney Sweeps of Menhirs resonates the spirit of protest and the heart of free Brittany! The revolution will begin with dance!
Free outdoor concert.
